St. John's Honors Former Baseball Player Who Died In Terrorist Attacks
Mike Weinberg, a former St. John's baseball player and New York City firefighter who died in the terrorist attacks, was honored at a campus ceremony Saturday. A crowd of more than 200 people, including nearly 75 New York firefighters, members of Weinberg's family and current and former St. John's players, paid tribute to Weinberg at the University Storm Center before the Red Storm's scheduled doubleheader against Rutgers.
