Football Players Work Hard At The Ryan Center Opening
Thirty members of the URI football team were on hand to great fans at the recent Ryan Center Community Open House. They got quite a workout as the players were responsible for running the most popular event of the day, the Rock Climbing Wall. This was quite a workout for the players as they hoisted eager youth to the top. In addition, Coach Stowers and his players conducted personal tours of the new men's locker room and helped youth to try on Rhody football helmets, shoulders pads, and jerseys. The football players were also a hit at the autograph table on the concourse as well as at the football accuracy toss contest on the main arena floor. |
